PURPOSE:To mount a circular resilient body to a workpiece of a larger outer diameter than its specific inner diameter automatically by forming recessed parts having a V-shaped plane view at the upper surfaces of a pair of circular resilient body receiving bodies which can be opened and closed diametrically, and forming almost circular cut parts at lower edge parts of the recessed parts facing each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of members 12a, 12b are fitted on guides 11 disposed between side walls of a block 10 so as to slide freely along the axis thereof, and one end parts of circular resilient body receiving bodies 13a, 13b each having an inverted L-letter shape in side view are fixed to the members 12a, 12b, so they are provided with the other end parts of them facing each other. Recessed parts 19a, 19b having an almost V-letter shaped plane view are provided at the upper surfaces of the circular resilient body receiving bodies 13a, 13b, and semicircular cut parts 20a, 20b are formed at open side lower edges of these. A circular resilient body such as an O-ring capable of resiliency deformation is thus mounted in the recessed parts 19a, 19b of the circular resilient body receiving bodies 13a, 13b which are closed. |
