PURPOSE:To make integrated circuit designing work easier by providing an intermediate load driving ability gate having a load driving ability larger than that of a logical gate in an internal cell area in the internal cell area or its vicinity. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate load driving ability gate 10 is provided between an internal cell area output gate 12 for the output from an internal cell area 20 in which a logic circuit required by a user is designed and a high-load driving ability gate 14 for driving the external load of an integrated circuit 40. Accordingly, inputs to the gate can be driven without causing any delay in signal transmitting time by the load driving ability of the gate 10 having a load driving ability larger than that of the gate 12 even when the distance Lb between the gates 10 and 14 becomes longer as compared with the distance La between the gates 12 and 14. Therefore, integrated circuit designing work becomes easier. |
