PURPOSE:To eliminate the possiblity of dazzling the driver of a car running in the opposite direction when the attitude of he head lamps of a retractor type is changed due to a loading of a heavy goods by designing the head lamp to be variable in the beam angle. CONSTITUTION:A down contact DW in the vicinity of an up-position of brush contacts BLR, BLL is rendered slightly short and an aiming contact EM is provided at a position where an up contact up and the down contact DW are slightly superposed when seen from a rotary axis O1. When a switch SW4 is turned on in a state of the head lamps LL, LR lightened, the aiming relays REL, RER are energized and further the relays RBL, RBR are energized, so that motors ML, MR are rotated in a direction to orient the head lamps downwards. Brushes BL, BR come into contact with the contacts DM of the brush contacts BLL, BLR, departing from the contact EM. In this case, since the contact DM is not supplied with power, the head lamps LL, LR are stopped rotation when they are oriented slightly downwards from the up-condition. |
