The novel bacterial strains Bacillus coagulans ATCC 53595, Arthrobacter globiformis ATCC 53596 and Pseudomonas stutzeri ATCC 53602 are able to catabolize tertiary butyl alcohol and therefore useful in treating wastewater to remove the compound prior to discharge. |
