PURPOSE:To prevent disengagement of a connecting pipe by inserting the connecting pipe between a connecting cylindrical body and a tightening portion of a connecting body, then by gripping the connecting pipe by means of the tightening portion and the connecting cylindrical body through screwing a compression member to the tightening portion, and by making a mark provided on the compression member in line with a mark provided on a flange portion. CONSTITUTION:This tube fitting has a connecting cylindrical body 10, a connecting body 20 held by fitting on the connecting cylindrical body 10, and a cap nut 30 of a compression member. The connecting cylindrical body 10 has a connecting portion 11 and a guide portion 14. The connecting body 20 has a flange portion 22 in which a supporting portion 13 of the connecting cylindrical body 10 is inserted, and a grinding portion 21 which is located outside the guide portion 14. On the external peripheral surface of the flange portion 22, straight line marks 22a to 22f are provided. The cap nut 30 has a female thread portion 31, which engages with a thread 21b of the gripping portion 21, inside its one end. Another end of the cap nut 30 is formed to be an internal peripheral surface of a constant diameter. These portions are connected with a tapered surface 32. On the external planes at an end side of the cap nut 30, straight line marks 34a to 34f are provided. As the result, the compression member can be screwed up to an appropriate position. |
