PURPOSE:To from fine holes accurately by a method wherein laser rays are oscillated in pulses, and the oscillation of laser rays is specified in duty. CONSTITUTION:A carbon dioxide gas laser or a YAG laser is used as a laser ray source, a boring part is equipped with an automatic focusing mechanism, a converging lens holder 5 is controlled to ascend or descend by signals transmitted from a control system 8, signals 10 are transmitted from the control system 8 to a pulse generator 9 to start pulse oscillation, a laser beam oscillated by the laser oscillator 1 is concentrated on a printed wiring board by a converging lens 4 provided to the converging lens holder 5 through the intermediary of a mirror 2. The oscillation of laser rays is set to 2% or below in duty. |
