PURPOSE:To prevent the drift of an endless belt with a simple structure at a low cost by providing a pair of electrodes face to face across the belt, and generating potential difference among the electrodes respectively. CONSTITUTION:A pair of electrodes 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b are provided face to face across a belt 1 on both end sections in the width direction of the endless belt 1, and a power source generating potential differences among the electrodes 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b respectively is connected. Both end sections of the belt 1 are invariably pulled among the electrodes 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b and can be moved in the balanced state among the electrodes. The drift of the endless belt 1 is prevented with a simple structure at a low cost, and an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive layer of the endless belt 1 can be stably conveyed. |
