PURPOSE:To prevent the changeover of the only voice output mode without confirming the actual voice by making the changeover of the voice output mode impossible when the broadcast can not be received due to the scramble broadcast and preventing the display of a normal voice output mode. CONSTITUTION:A CPU15 reads the data of a control bit and range bit to be read out in a PCM demodulation part 11 successively, and a control signal muting the voice output against the PCM demodulation part 11 is supplied when decided as a scramble-processed signal based on these data. Then, when the scramble broadcast is stereo broadcast or bilingual broadcast, that is, when there are plural voice output modes, the changeover of the voice output mode is not performed even when the changeover signal of the voice output mode from an operation signal generation part 20 is supplied. Further, a command is outputted against a character generator 22, to perform display such as 'main' and 'sub', 'main/sub' different from the normal screen display, for example, on the voice output mode. |
