发明名称 HIGH-DENSITY CALCIA SINTERED COMPACT AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain high-purity and high-density calcia sintered compact having high slaking resistance by subjecting powder obtained by using a calcium carbonate raw material having proper grain size as a substrate and calcining the substrate to hydroxylation or carbonation treatment and then drying and forming the treated powder and burning the formed article. CONSTITUTION:A calcium carbonate raw material is used as a substrate and a substrate having proper grain size range is calcined under prescribed calcination conditions and then the resultant calcined powder is subjected to hydroxylation or carbonation treatment and then dried in prescribed conditions and formed and calcined. Process of the above-mentioned hydroxylation or carbonation treatment can be carried out by (a) slaking the powder in an aqueous solution to sufficiently change the calcium carbonate raw material into calcium hydroxide, (b) allowing the calcined powder to stand in air to weather the powder or (c) slaking the calcined powder and blowing carbon dioxide gas into the resultant slaked lime to afford an aqueous solution of calcium carbonate and then converting the aqueous solution calcium carbonate to powder thereof.
