摘要 PURPOSE:To drive either one of a belt member and a rotor and surely move the other at the same speed by providing a magnetic field generating means generating the magnetic field between the outer contact section of the rotatable rotor kept in contact with the surface section of the belt member containing a magnetic substance and the surface section. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder body 16 made of a nonmagnetic substance and kept in contact with the surface section 11a of a photoreceptor belt 11 containing a magnetic substance at an outer contact section 16a, the surface section 11a fixed on the inside, and a permanent magnet 18 generating the magnetic field on the outer contact section 16a are provided. The magnetic field or lines of magnetic force 19 generated from the permanent magnet 18 permeate the cylinder body 16 and reach the surface section 11a of the photoreceptor belt 11 to magnetize the photoreceptor belt 11, the magnetic attracting force is generated between the photoreceptor belt 11 and the permanent magnet 18, and the photoreceptor belt 11 is magnetically attracted to the cylinder body 16 side and pressed to the cylinder body 16 by the slip-less stationary friction force. When the photoreceptor belt 11 is driven by a driving roller 12 and moved in the clockwise direction A, the cylinder body 16 of a transfer roller 15 is moved in the counterclockwise direction B at the same peripheral speed as the moving speed of the photoreceptor belt 11 in conjunction with this movement.
