PURPOSE:To improve waterproofness, abrasion resistance, and water vapor permeability by compounding a polyurethane resin with a coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyurethane resin comprising 0-90wt.% polyamino resin and 100-10wt.% polyurethane resin is compounded with 0.1-30 pts.wt. coupling agent (e.g. isopropyl triisostearoyl titanate) to give a synthetic resin compsn., to which 1-60wt.% water is added to give an emulsion. The emulsion is applied to a substrate, heated to remove a solvent and water, giving a synthetic sheet contg. a porous layer. |
