PURPOSE:To increase a ratio of spring constants by composing a coupling main body of rubber containing short fibers which have different characteristics in at least one axial direction from that in the other axial direction, and also have anisotropy. CONSTITUTION:Short fibers 4 are oriented in a coupling main body 2 mainly in an axial direction with an orientation ratio thereof being at least 50%, while showing anisotropy. Material rubber utilized for the coupling main body 2 is selected among bridged rubber such as natural rubber or styrene-butadiene rubber, polyolefine-or polyester-thermoplastic elastomer, and the like. The short fiber 4, whose length is not more than 10mm and, whose ratio of the length and diameter is not less than 40, and whose initial elastic ratio is not less than 40g/d, is selected among synthetic/natural fiber, inorganic fiber such as glass or carbon, and metal fiber such as steel or stainless steel. Ratio of a torsion spring constant and an axial spring constant is increased, accordingly. |
