PROCESS FOR ENHNACING YEAST GROWTH An improvement in the preparation of beer by the fermentation of brewers' wort which comprises adding to the brewers' wort an effective amount of ashed trub to enhance yeast growth. The ashed trub is obtained by heating whole trub until all organic combustibles have been removed or destroyed. The ashed trub contains valuable trace elements, including zinc.
