PURPOSE:To prepare the subject web preventing the migration staining of dyes by subjecting the woven or knitted web of polyester fibers dyed with a dispersed dye to a water-repelling treatment, treating the treated web with a low temperature plasma to change the surface of the woven or knitted web to a specific O/C ratio, and subsequently forming an urethane resin layer on the treated surface of the web. CONSTITUTION:0.5-5owf of a water-repelling resin (preferably a fluoro resin) is added to the woven or knitted web of polyester fibers dyed with a disperse dye, and the surface of the web is subjected to a low temperature plasma treatment to form an O/C ratio of 0.4-0.6 measured by ESCA for changing the surface of web into the hydrophilic surface. The treated web is further laminated to an urethane resin to provide a coated web where the migration staining of dyes into the resin layer is prevented. |
