DIVISION OF DIVISION TYPE CONJUGATED FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To readily obtain the subject fiber excellent in hydrophilic properties, cool feeling and draping properties by dividing a fiber containing a saponified material exposed on the fiber surface so that the divided fiber may have a specified degree of acetalization. CONSTITUTION:A conjugated fiber composed of (A) an ethylene-vinyl acetate saponified copolymer and (B) a thermoplastic polymer, in which the component (A) is exposed at least on a part of the fiber surface is divided into the components (A) and (B) by carrying out acetalization at <=1000 deg.C so that the resultant fiber may have 5-95% degree of acetalization.
