PURPOSE:To obtain the title low-viscosity polyol having a specific hydroxyl number by condensing nonylphenyl with an aldehyde and diethanolamine to give a condensate, and adding alkylene oxides to the condensate. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1mol nonylphenyl is reacted with (B) 2.1-3mol aldehyde (preferably formaldehyde or paraformaldehyde) and (C) 2.1-3mol diethanolamine (further the number of mols of the component C is preferably 1-1.2, especially equimolar based on 1mol of the component B) to give a condensate, to which alkylene oxides (propylene oxide and 20-50wt.%, based on total alkylene oxides, of ethylene oxide) are added to give the objective polyol having OH value of 350-500mg KOH/g. 20-100wt.% of the polyol and 80-0wt.% of another polyol are reacted with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a blowing agent to give the objective foam. |
