PURPOSE:To obviate the need for a troublesome operation such as replacing reel by a method wherein individual bar code printing data is fed into a bar code printer for each work and the bar code to be printed is automatically varied responding to changes in the work specifications. CONSTITUTION:A printed bar code label is sent to the next bar code reader in order to read its bar code. The data thus read is sent to a system controller 234 to verify whether or not the data agrees with the corresponding bar code printing data. If a normal printing is indicated by the agreement between these two data, the bar code label is fed onto a peeling-off plate 32, positioned by a bar code label positioning part, held by suction on an attaching head part, transferred to a bar code label attaching position and attached to a predetermined place on a base plate. |
