PURPOSE:To improve the directivity, by giving inductance to the part opposing to the coupling line picking up a part of power on the main line and providing the means, increasing capacitance to the main line with both ends of the coupling section of the coupling line. CONSTITUTION:The coupler has the construction that the dielectric base 2 having the main line 1 and coupling line 1' is adhered to the ground plate 3, and the inductance is given by providing the slit 9 to the inside of the coupling part 8 of conductor pattern. Further, the distance between of the input terminal 10 of coupling part 8 and the coupling conductor of the output terminal 11 of the coupling part is made narrow to increase the capacitance. With the costitution like this, the propagation speed of an odd mode is slow and it is coincidence with that of the even mode of improve the directivity. Thus, the power due to only the incident wave incident from the input terminal 4 is given to the coupling terminal 6 with a prescribed degree of coupling and the leakage power due to the reflected wave incident to the output terminal 5, allowing to know the power level incident accurately. |
