PURPOSE:To readily prepare the subject flexible coated web free from the migration of dyes, by coating a polyester fiber web with a resin composition containing a resin and an organic metal coordinated compound. CONSTITUTION:A polyester fiber web such as the dyed product of a polyester woven or knitted fabric is coated with a solvent solution containing a resin such as a polyurethane resin and/or a polyacrylic resin and an organometallic coordinated compound. Since the coated web inhibits the migration of dyes, exhibits an excellent stain-preventing effect and has a flexible touch in comparison with conventional webs, the coated web is suitably employed for clothes, umbrella cloths, etc. Examples of the organometallic coordinated compound includes aluminum triacetylacetonate and zirconium tetraacetylacetonate. |
