发明名称 INSPECTING APPARATUS FOR DECARBURIZATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable accurate inspection of decarburization of a steel material by a method wherein the state of decarburization toward the inside of a substance to be inspected is analyzed on the basis of information on the gradation density of a picked-up image of a prescribed region of a section of the substance to be measured, and it is displayed. CONSTITUTION:Image data of an image frame F1 of the peripheral part of a steel material piece 101 taken in an image processing device 320 are divided into sectors in the number of 255 on a frame memory 323, and further density data added up for each sector are stored by operation RAM 325. Next, an X-Y stage being controlled to be moved, an image frame F2 is processed like the F1 and the integrated density data are stored by the RAM 325. Image frames F3 and F4 are processed and stored likewise. The integrated density data for each sector which are stored are converted into smoothed density data and restored by the RAM 325. Then, a distance from the edge of the steel material piece 101 to the position of the density of the surface not decarburized, that is, a decarburization depth, is measured and displayed. By this method, accurate inspection of decarburization of a steel material is enabled.
