摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of damage like burnout due to the generation of quenching, even in the case of a superconducting coil whose number of windings is small, and improve reliability, by constituting at least one of superconducting coils of a normal direction coil and an opposite direction coil. CONSTITUTION:An electron gun coil 20 is constituted of a normal direction coil 2A and an opposite direction coil 2B. The coil 2A is wound in the same direction as the conventional coil 20, and the coil 2B is wound in the opposite direction. By installing the coil 2B wound in the opposite direction, in the smallest coil 20 in a superconducting magnet, a coil affected most largely by quenching can be prevented from generating damage like burnout, so that the reliability can be improved. Since the place where a necessary magnetic field is generated is the vicinity of an internal diameter part center axis of a superconducting magnet, the coil 2A is set on the internal diamer side, and the coil 2B is set on the external diameter side, thereby relieving the decrease of magnetic field intensity caused by the coil 2B. Hence number of windings of a superconducting coil is reduced, and the amount of superconducting wire can be saved.
