DRAWING DATA CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To utilize host drawing data bases in addition to drawing data in local drawing data bases by storing host drawing data base stored information in the local drawing data bases. CONSTITUTION:The host drawing data base stored information 5-0 is stored in the local drawing data bases 5-1 - 5-m. A local drawing data base access means 4-2 that a plotting processor 4 has retrieves the local drawing data base 5-1 - 5-m on an auxiliary storage device 5 according to an indication from a plotting means 4-1. When there is the host drawing data base stored information 5-0 instead of indicated drawing data, a request to access the indicated drawing data is sent to an information processor 1 through a communication network 3 according to the host data base stored information 5-0. Consequently, the terminal-side plotting processor 4 can automatically utilize drawing data in the host drawing data bases 2-1 - 2-n in addition to drawing data in the local drawing data bases 5-1 - 5-m.
