PURPOSE:To remove impurities on a textile product in a short time dispensing with any scouring agent by treating such a textile product with a low- temperature plasma of a non-polymerizable gas. CONSTITUTION:A textile product such as of cotton, rayon, polyester fiber or nylon fiber is scoured by treatment with a low-temperature plasma of a non- polymerizable gas (e.g. nitrogen, argon, ammonia, helium). Subsequently, it is preferable that wet treatment be made to dissolve and remove the impurities made readily soluble on the textile product. |
