A signal processor for detecting a coherent signal superimposed on noise signals, particularly non-stationary noise signals. The input signals S(t) are applied to a bank of adjacent filters 1, and the signal Sq filtered by one of the filters Fq is supplied to a first measuring channel 3 - 5 and to a second measuring channel 6 - 9; the outputs Sq<1)<t) and Sq<2)<t) are connected to a coincidence circuit 2; the first measuring channel is sensitive to the amplitude of the filtered signal and the second measuring channel is sensitive to the phase of the filtered signal. The coincidence circuit 2 delivers an output signal Sq<*)<t) if the amplitude of the filtered signal is greater than a threshold value Vd depending on the mean level of the noise signals and if the absolute value of the second derivative of the phase of the filtered signal is less than a threshold value V alpha determined by the acceptable probability of a false alarm.
