<p>PURPOSE:To beautifully cut off the sheath of a shielding wire by making a cutter provided with a cutter holder which is centrifugally moved by the rotation of a rotor to act on the entire periphery of the shielded wire set at the center of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a start button attached to a front frame is pressed, a motor is started and a rotor 3 starts to rotate. As the rotor 3 rotates, an centrifugal force acts on a cutter holder 12 which rotates together with the rotor 3 in an integral state and the holder 12 moves to a central projecting section 12c by compressing a spring 13. As a result, a cutter 19 approaches the center of the rotor 3 and gets into a shielded wire 14 at the rotating center of the rotor 3 while the cutter 19 rotates together with the rotor 3. Thus the cutter 19 cuts into the section A of the wire 14 around the entire periphery. The moving limit of the cutter holder 12 is adjusted by means of an adjusting bolt 23 so that the cutter 19 does not cut the inner insulating covering 14c of the wire 14, but the outer sheath 14b only.</p> |
