<p>PURPOSE:To automate a starting operation and to start a motor having a capacity equal to that of a generator by temporarily reducing the rotating speed of an engine if a load current becomes a reference value or more when a control for a load having a large rush current is selected, and then raising it to a rated speed. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 is started, for example, at 1800rpm of a rated speed. Then, when a control selection switch 11 is switched from 'a normal load' to 'an underwater pump' side, a reference speed of a speed controller 12 is set, for example, to 1200rpm, an actuator 9 of a fuel pump 8 is controlled, and the engine 1 is operated at 1200 rpm. Then, when a load switch 4 and a breaker 5 are closed, an output current of a generator 2 flows to an induction motor 3. In this case, it is assumed that an automatic voltage regulator 6 outputs, for example, 50% of a rated voltage in response to a decrease in frequency. If a load current is detected by a current transformer 7 and is a predetermined value or more of the rated current of the generator 2, the speed of the engine 1 is raised to 1800rpm of the rated value after a predetermined time is elapsed.</p> |
