<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the trailing end of a transfer paper sheet from jumping without any deterioration of the gas permeability of the sheet by forcibly narrowing a gap between the opposed upper and lower vertical guide means appropriately. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower guide plates 6 and 7 are shifted to a position faced to the vicinity of the feed route 21 of a natural form of a transfer paper sheet from a timing roller 5 at least during the predetermined time from a stage immediately before the separation of the sheet from a timing roller to a travel through a gap between the upper and lower guide plates 6 and 7. A gap between the upper and lower guide plates 6 and 7 is thereby narrowed. In this case, even when the trailing end of a transfer paper sheet 2 separated from the timing roller 5 tries to jump to natural posture suitable for a portion for transfer, the upper guide plate 6 contacts the trailing end, thereby preventing the jumping thereof. According to the aforesaid processes, image quality becomes free from deterioration caused by a vibration of the sheet 2 related to its jumping.</p> |
