This is a friction disc (10) including a thin lining-carrier plate (11) and, carried by the latter, distributed about its centre, a plurality of friction linings (12), each one formed of two pads (14) which, arranged back to back, are mounted so that they can move axially with respect to one another counter to elastic means and within the limits of a given relative path controlled by stop means.
<??>According to the invention, the elastic means thus coming into play between two pads (14) of one same friction lining (12) include at least one elastic washer (18) of the Belleville washer type.
