PURPOSE:To perform recording, regeneration and erasure by constituting the recording layer formed on a substrate of a shape memory resin consisting of a reversible phase reversibly generating hardening and softening across the vicinity of a glass transition point and a fixed phase changing between fluidity and non-fluidity across an m.p. and adding a specific org. dye to the shape memory resin. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 to be used is composed of a transparent resin or glass and a recording layer 2 is constituted by compounding an org. dye absorbing layer beam to raise the temp. of the recording layer with a shape memory resin. Herein, for example, the shape memory resin is composed of a chain polymer wherein a part thereof is a reversible phase reversibly generating hardening and softening across glass transition temp. Tg and the other part thereof is a fixed phase changing between fluidity and non-fluidity across an m.p. Tm. As this resin, a resin whose modulus of elasticity changes at temp. corresponding to a purpose is selected as the reversible phase and a fixing point (m.p.) may be introduced into this resin and the introduction of the fixing point is performed by generating the crosslinking and crystallization of polymer chains and the mutual entanglement, flocculation of hydrogen bond of said chains. |
