PURPOSE:To simplify and speed up thinning processing by using six conditions where new five conditions are taken into consideration. CONSTITUTION:A new condition is added to a basic course (I). In a parallel type, a value is estimated while neglecting the change when a picture element value changes by one scanning. Judged by a condition (I) parallel type, the objective picture element is converted into an index picture element value when the objective picture element of all four directions of up-and-down and right-and- left are not the surrounding picture element value, more than two of oblique four directions are not the surrounding picture element value, and eight connection numbers of this object picture element is 1. The index picture element value is a picture element for line thinning processing, and it is converted into the surrounding picture element after all the graphics are scanned. Since the graphic is eliminated in the graphic of a line width 2 only with this condition, the condition after condition (II) is provided. As this result, the conceptual design at the time of the line thinning of the final graphic for a square after line thinning processing, a graphic adding one picture element to the vertical stripe of the line width 2, a graphic equipped with ruggedness, and a cross shape of the line width 2 are indicated. |
