<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a damage such as buckling at a guide of a magnetic tape, a lead of a rotary cylinder by feeding a dummy tape different from a magnetic tape in a state that the dummy tape is superposed double on the magnetic tape when the magnetic tape is fed. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic tape 1 of a recording medium is fed, a dummy tape 50 different from the tape 1 is fed in a state that the tape 50 is superposed double on the tape 1 at least at part of a feeding system. Accordingly, bending rigidity, bucking strength of the tape 1 are equivalently increased. As the tape 50, a polyester film in which magnetic material is removed from the tape 1, etc., is used. Thus, even if the tape 1 is pressed to flanges of guide 3, 6, etc., a lead of a rotary cylinder 8, a damage such as buckling, etc., is not applied.</p> |
