PURPOSE:To avoid ink bleeding by printing in the same printing area with at least 1 head out of a plurality of heads after a time sufficiently long from a printing time with other head and longer than a print lag time of an adjacent head. CONSTITUTION:An interval between a nozzle at an upper end of a head 1c of cyan and a nozzle at a lower end of a head 1b of black is made to be 1 pitch p of the nozzle and the head 1b of black is attached to a carriage plate 2 so as to be positioned downstream of a paper convey direction y. As for sequence of a printing, cyan, magenta, and yellow are printed firstly by scanning, a paper is conveyed, and the black is printed at a next scanning, so that 4 colors can be printed in one and the same printing area. Moreover, the black will be printed at a time that the ink is dried after an elapse of time from printings of the cyan, the magenta, and the yellow, so that ink bleeding will not occur. |
