The invention relates to a device for covering air gun targets allowing rapid fire practice. It consists of an electro-magnet (2) whose plunger-core motion (3) is transmitted by a small rod (4) to a target shield (13) which is integral with an arm (11) which moves horizontally in a slide (12) by the intermediary of a step-down lever (9).
