PURPOSE:To improve strength and handling performance by forming a vibration absorbing part inside a cylindrical supporting body through the combination of a buffering part made of the porous silicon gel and a holding part made of hard material. CONSTITUTION:As for an insulator 1, a shape holding ring 4 and lower and upper installation plates 5 and 6 are installed on a cylindrical supporting body 2 forming edge parts 3a and 3b, and a vibration absorbing part 7 is installed inside. The cylindrical supporting body 2 is made of soft rubber, and the vibration absorbing part 7 is constituted by combining a buffering part 9 made of the porous silicon gel and a holding part 10 which is made of the hard material and whose deformation in the lateral direction is difficult. Accordingly, by utilizing the porous softness, the silicon gel having high hardness can be used, and strength is increased, and handling performance is improved. |
