PURPOSE:To improve the surface appearance of a concrete product released from a mold at once by incorporating a specified anionic surfactant, dextrin and alkylamine oxide. CONSTITUTION:This admixture for concrete is obtd. by blending 45-80wt.% anionic surfactant having <=40dyn/cm surface tension as 1% aq. soln., e.g. sodium laurylbenzenesulfonate with 45-15wt.% dextrin and 5-10wt.% alkylamine oxide whose alkyl group has 8-18 carbon atoms, e.g. monoalkyldimethylamine oxide whose monoalkyl group is a long chain alkyl group. |
