PURPOSE:To restart performance without a feeling of physical disorder by outputting a musical data returned to the vicinity of a stored marker code when operation of position assignment is performed to operate restart indication. CONSTITUTION:A marker address searcher 52 of receiving restart signal outputs a marker code, one before a marker A, as a start address and a marker code, one before a marker B, as an end address to an MIDI data transmitter 31, thereafter when a transmission start signal is output to the MIDI data transmitter 31, a musical data is read from a memory means 10, from the start address to the end address, and output to a sound source 20 by the MIDI data transmitter 31. That is, the marker code is previously inserted to a sharp part in the musical data, and at restart time of performance, the music data is outputted returned in the vicinity of the stored marker code. In this way, for instance in the case of words of meaning continued, the performance can be restarted from the head and so on,k without a feeling of physical disorder. |
