PURPOSE:To avoid the danger in advance by detecting immediately superheating in the case an emitting end of a catheter is superheated by providing a laser light guiding fiber, providing a temperature measuring contact of a thermocouple in the vicinity of the emitting end, and providing a conductor of the thermocouple in the inside. CONSTITUTION:A temperature measuring contact 27 of a thermocouple 26 is inserted/attached and held between the outside peripheral surface of a first short cylindrical body 17, and the inside peripheral circuit of the tip of a braided tube 22. Conductors 28, 28 of the thermocouple 26 are provided in the inside of a catheter. An inserting part 6 is inserted into a living body thin diameter tube such as a blood vessel, etc., directly, or through a laser lumen of the catheter inserted in advance, and in a position in which the thin diameter tube bends or branches, an oscillating part 7 is inserted, while curving and oscillating it suitably by operating an oscillation operating implement 9 with one hand. In such a way, by transmitting a laser beam L from an infrared laser generating device 1 such as a CO laser, etc., and radiating it from the emitting end, an affected part (lesion) of a thrombus, etc., is cauterized and decomposed. |
