PURPOSE:To obviate an ill-matched feeling of color data by providing a display composing section for displaying first 2n bit color data outputted from a 2n bit frame memory overlaid on second 2n bit color data outputted from a color data expanding section. CONSTITUTION:8-bit width color data 30 outputted from a frame memory 10 inputted to a display composing section 70 and color data 60 outputted from a color expanding section 50 are composed with each other in the display composing section 70 to be outputted as display output data 80 of 8-bit width color data. Then, the highest level of color data 60 outputted from the color expanding section 50 is a logic value similar to that in the case of color data 30 outputted from a 8-bit constituted frame memory 10. Thus, a ill-matched feeling due to a difference between frame memories can be removed. |
