PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of editing by providing a frame redisplaying means for redisplaying a fixed frame on a display as a floating frame. CONSTITUTION:This document processor is provided with a CPU 12, a main memory 13, a memory control part 14, a bit map display 15, a display control part 16, a keyboard/mouse control part, 19, etc., and when a request for changing a fixed frame displayed on the display 15 into a floating frame is outputted, the CPU 12 changes a frame sort stored in a frame sort storing means 13 to the floating frame and the fixed frame on the display is redisplayed as a floating frame. Even when editing work is applied again to a text whose editing work has been completed in a way, the fixed frame in the document is moved in accordance with the increment/decrement of texts and is not separated from the texts. Thereby, re-editing work for adjusting positional relation between each text and the fixed frame is made unnecessary and the editing work can be rapidly and efficiently executed. |
