PURPOSE:To change a tone quality in accordance with a style of rendition by providing an amplitude control part for controlling amplitude of a waveform signal in accordance with a count data of a key-pressing number count part, so that styles of rendition of a melody and a code are automatically discriminated. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a plurality of waveform memory parts 103, 104 simultaneously read in accordance with pressing a key by storing a waveform of respectively different shapes, key-pressing number count part 109 for counting a key-pressing number in a unit time and an amplitude control part 106 for controlling amplitude of at least one waveform signal read from each waveform memory part in accordance with a count data of the key- pressing number count part 109. For instance, sound volume change values V1(=OdB), V2(=+3dB) are obtained by a key-pressing number sound volume conversion table, and final amplitude information is determined by considering sound height and detecting information of touch intensity to output a control signal to the amplitude control part 106. In this way, a tone quality can be changed in accordance with a style of rendition by automatically discriminating the styles of rendition of a melody and a code. |
