<p>PURPOSE:To make miniaturization, little elongation and reduction of dragging torque of the clutch device in the title by combining in series, a dry clutch that declutches with treadling a pedal and a wet clutch whose torque transmis sion capacity is reduced when treadling amount is increased. CONSTITUTION:A wet clutch 1 and a dry clutch 2 are connected in series to each other. The wet clutch 1 possesses a friction plate 3 that engages with a fly wheel 5 on the side of a crank shaft, and a friction plate 4 that engages with the case 7 of the dry clutch 2, and they are connected together as an outcome that a piston 14 is actuated by oil pressure. The disc 20 of the dry clutch 2 integrally rotates with a shaft 9, and thrusted to the clutch case 7 by a pressure plate 21. On account of this construction, this device is miniaturized in comparison with those that use fluid couplings, life of the disc is lengthened since the wet clutch absorbs the energy at the time of start, and dragging torque is also reduced.</p> |
