PURPOSE:To rapidly move an inverted display on a display by providing this document processor with the 1st memory for storing image information and the 2nd memory corresponding to the 1st memory and inverting an image signal in the 2nd memory. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd memory areas 36, 37 corresponding to each block in each page of a document are prepared in a RAM 13. The 1st memory area 36 stores the image information of the document only by one block and the 2nd memory area 37 inverts the image signal of a part to be inverted and writes the inverted image signal. The contents of the 1st and 2nd memory areas 36, 37 are processed by exclusive OR operation through an exclusive OR circuit 23 and the exclusive OR result is displayed on the display 22. In the case of returning an inverted display to the original state in order to move an area to be inversely displayed, the contents of the 2nd memory are 37 are simply cleared and address calculation for clearing can be made unnecessary. Thus, rapid processing can be attained. |
