The spring resistance device has a lever arm attached to a frame and coupled via a tension cable (3) to a coil spring (4) which is attached to the frame on the opposite side. The force exerted on the lever arm (11) is indicated by an electronic force measuring element (13), the lever arm (11) attached to an eccentric roller (14) at the centre or offset from the centre. The tension cable (3) passes around the eccentric roller (14) and around a pulley roller (5) cooperating with 2 limit stops (6, 7). The eccentric roller (14) is coupled to an electronic angle measuring device. ADVANTAGE - Simple device allowing precise setting of resistance force and easy replacement of individual components.
