FOOD PACKING BODY FOR HEAT AND MICROWAVE TREATMENT

Food is contained in a container made from packing materials with an oxygen permeability of 200ml/m<2>. 24Hr.atm, an oxygen absorber which has a microwave-proof layer [16] with film thickness of 5-20 mu m on at least one side and also air-permeable packing material [22] on at least one side, whose surface with the air-permeable packing meterial is permeable to air with a water vapor permeability of 10-3,000g/m<2>. 24Hr.atm. The oxygen absorber packet [10] is fixed in said container. Under these conditions, it becomes possible to perform both heat treatment and microwave treatment of the food contained therein.
