Collectorless outer rotor motor with releasable bearing shields - which are secured by radially slidable straps and fasteners to rotor jacket

To the stator (1) is coupled a shaft (2), on which a surrounding rotor (4) is rotatably mounted via its jacket (6). The latter is enclosed at its axial ends by a releasable bearing shield (7). The releasable connection is realised by radically straps (11), arrestable by fasteners (23). In the arrested position, they grip beyond undercuts on the inner peripheral surface on the jacket by thin radially outer ends. Pref. each strap consists of a flat abutment section (12) and an arresting tongue (14), parallel offset w.r.t. the section. USE/ADVANTAGE - For outer rotor motors, with simple design and low-cost assembly of the bearing shields.
