Watch strap of leather - has lining perforated along at least part of its length and moisture blocking layer between lining and upper leather

A moisture-blocking layer (6) is provided at least between the perforated region of the lining leather (2) and the upper leather (1) forming the strap. A fleece insert (5) is provided at least in the perforated region and made moisture-proof on the side facing the upper leather. The upper and lining bands are pref. glued to the moisture blocking or fleece insert. The latter can be of synthetic fibres. The side of the fleece insert facing the upper leather can be prepared with a plastics resin layer. The perforations pref. have a dia. of approx. 1 to 3 mm and distributed at about 10 per sq.cm. ADVANTAGE - Receives and disperses sweat more efficiently, reducing rotting of leather.
