The liq. cooled cylinder head for a multi-cylinder IC engine consists of a single casting. It has a cylinder head base, which is thickened on the outlet side down to the outlet ducts. For each combustion chamber section, the cylinder head base has a first cooling water intake bore (35) to charge a tubular chamber (16), and a second water intake bore (33,34), which passes tangentially from the outlet side along the outlet ducts and opens into their circumference. ADVANTAGE - Sufficient cooling with maintained rigidity of cylinder head.
