<p>The subject of the present invention is an apparatus for the semi-hot forging of a metal workpiece, fitted with a forging tool comprising a die (3) in which a cavity (4) is made for the said workpiece (2) to be semi-hot forged, a die body (6) in which the die (3) is embedded and comprising a circuit (7) for cooling the said die, a longitudinal ejector (8) and a device for spraying fluids into the cavity (4) of the die (3). The circuit (7) comprises a distribution chamber (25) supplied by at least one fluid inlet (17) and supplying the said spray device formed by at least one radial orifice (28) made in the ejector (8), in front of the latter, for cleaning, cooling and lubricating the cavity (4) of the die (3), the said chamber (25) furthermore communicating sequentially with a fluid outlet (18).
