A several fluted exhaust unit with converter (2) for i.c. engines has separate exhaust connections (3) on the engine side, which opens into a housing (5) via a mixing chamber (4). The mixing chamber has a lambda-probe (10). The connection (6) of the exhausts is essentially perpendicular relative to teh gas flow (A) out of the mixing chamber, and follows the chamber contour (8). ADVANTAGE - Simplified construction.
