1,127,235. Moulding concrete slabs. T. SCHMIDT, and G. E. HUMMELSHOJ. 24 Sept., 1965 [1 Oct., 1964], No. 40783/65. Heading B5A. In a process of casting concrete floor, wall or frontage elements wherein a plurality of stations is traversed by moulds on a roller conveyer, a pusher (23) (Fig. 1, not shown) moves an empty mould up to station 2 for inspection and at stations 3 and 4 respectively reinforcement 24 is introduced and concrete is poured; at station 5 the moulds are gripped by a crane (25), provided with a gripping yoke (26), and transported, via station 6, to a stacking station 7 where successive stacks are moved by a pusher (27) through a curing chamber (28) at station 8. Moulds are successively removed from the cured stack at station 9 to station 10 by an overhead crane (29), provided with a mould gripping yoke (30) and with means for actuating the mould to effect release thereof from the concrete before, during or after transportation between the stations. A vacuum suction installation (31) on crane (29) retains the concrete for transport to station 11, e.g. where the element may be drilled, or to a store (32). Empty moulds are returned from the end of the production line at station (10) to station 1 by an overhead travelling crane (20), the lifting yoke (22) whereof comprises gripping elements and a mechanism permitting the moulds to be oiled and cleaned during transportation.
|
